Another Halloween Haunt

Here's another card stamped with the Haunted Halloween set. And, it's another quick card. This card is based on a quarter sheet of cardstock with a piece of pumpkin pie cardstock that wraps from the card back to the card front. When you open the front 'flap' the message is revealed...'a haunting halloween'. We did this card style at the Stampin' Up! Philly regional...makes for a fresh card! By the way, the image is stamped on kraft and watercolored...my first try on kraft and I'm happy with the results.
stamps: Haunted Halloween

ink: brown stazon; wild wasabi; pumpkin pie; perfect plum; summer sun
cardstock: kraft; pumpkin pie; perfect plum
other: hemp twine; hodgepodge hardware; aqua pen

Witch's Brew

Here's one of two quick cards I made using Haunting Halloween. Recently, I saw a card made with basic black cardstock that was sponged with craft whisper white ink and liked the results. The kettle was stamped with black stazon on confetti white and watercolored with an aqua pen.
cardstock: basic black, confetti white, pumpkin pie, wild wasabi, perfect plum
ink: craft whisper white, basic gray, wild wasabi, perfect plum, chocolate chip

Double Pocket Tote

This is another project demonstrated at the Philly Stampin' Up! regional held in September. It took me some prodding, but I finally found the directions to compliment my notes to make this adorable tote bag to hold these little 3" x 3" notes. Believe it or not, it's constructed from a single sheet of 12 x 12 designer double sided paper.
stamp sets: Baroque Motifs; Peaceful Wishes; Holidays & Wishes; Sincere Salutations
cardstock/paper: river rock; mellow moss; Holiday Harmony designer double sided print paper
inks: purely pomegranate; versamark; always artichoke
other: gold EP, gold brads, ribbon

Bag Topper

Recently I saw Carol Duvall create a fast topper for a small gift bag and thought it could definitely help me out...I always have trouble making the tissue look just right. I added some glittered chipboard snowflakes, ribbon and a tag to complete this quick gift tote.

Fall Vitalized Vellum

Is this a picture of Fall or what? Well, it's about the only thing that says Fall lately...it feels like a Florida Fall...and Florida can keep it! I first saw this technique demonstrated by Pennie McCallum at the Philadelphia Stampin' Up! regional. This technique will be covered in my upcoming class...Holiday cards. Elegant Post-It-Note

This is totally CASEd from my upline's upline's upline (if that makes sense), Pennie. She's been a Stampin' Up! demonstrator for probably 14+ years and is so creative. This was one of several raffle gifts Pennie made for her annual Fall meeting that I was able to attend. Her meetings alone are worth becoming a Stampin' Up! demonstrator! I hope you enjoy several of her designs I'll be posting. And be sure to visit Pennie's blog to see her fabulous creations. Stamp sets: Baroque Motifs cardstock: brushed silver & brushed gold ink: Versamark other: gold EP; basic gray taffeta ribbon; pretties kit; stamp positioner

Awesome Acetate

Is this a cool card or what! A couple of weeks ago I found little on my stamping plate and was stumped as to what direction to head. So, I signed onto SplitCoastStampers.com (SCS) for inspiration; but this time, no gallery...I decided to try the 'challenge of the day'. As it turned out, the challenge was an acetate card...something I've never done. I love Soft Sky and Blue Bayou with the brushed silver cardstock. If you are interested in adding this technique to your list, sign up today and save your spot. This card will be included in my Thursday, November 1 card class.
stamps: Snowfall; Supersize Snowflake
cardstock: soft sky; blue bayou; shimmer white; brushed silver
inks: soft sky; blue bayou; white stazon
other: double stitched ribbon; silver cord; snow blossom punch; 1 1/4" circle punch; 1 3/8" circle punch; liquid glue; dazzling diamonds stampin' glitter
